@Frondeur @madcuzbad @suquili So at the airport there was a young woman talking to another woman she just met at the same bar and said that she followed a guy she just met earlier in the week (note:today is Wednesday) out to Memphis but was now flying home on her own dime because he didn’t get back to the hotel until 6am because he was at the strip club all night. :pepe_kchhhhh: Needless to say I wanted to bust the window out at the end of terminal and toss her out on to the tarmac.

@Terry@poa.st I seem to recall when my brother was on a missIe frigate that he said there were mechanisms to reload the magazine at sea, but it really was a last ditch thing as it took so much time, and was dangerous, and suboptimal anyway as the missiles could be fired so much more quickly than they could be loaded at sea. TDLR: the platform is just not made for how they use it as it supposed to be a backup to land based munitions, not a replacement for it.

@Terry@poa.st One of the plants owned by the company I work for makes parts for a similar weapon system and, for just our tiny part of a tiny assembly, it’s a 28-week lead time. Now I will admit that’s on the extreme edge but other suppliers face the same issue of barely finding enough people to show up on time and sober to fill one shift to make parts at the anemic the DOD currently demands.

The easier thing to do after such edits is to just click "save" and those are the cases where the text is still retrievable.
